  1. Agreed. I have a G-trigger in my ACR, the SSA in my AR15, and an SSA-E in my LR308.
  2. Like any other LR308, it had a few teething issues at first, but after a few rounds things smoothed right out. I did some function testing, so the next time out to the range I'll have to shoot some groups.
  3. After a few months of toying around with building a personal LR308, I finally have it 95% done, just waiting on the Nightforce fairy to come bring me a present. Aero M5 receiver set KAC URX 3.1 rail CMMG 16" barrel with a rifle length gas system SLR gas block Magpul MBUS Pros with the LR rear One of the Nitride and NiB BCG that I manufacture Geiselle SSA-E KAC MAMS break (probably switch to a Griffin taper mount) KAC 30mm scope mount Some standard Magpul furniture
  4. Still have a few of these left.....
  5. I wonder if that barrel happens to have barrel extension on the high or low end of the manufacturers tolerance that is causing it to not bode well with my bolt.
  6. As others have mentioned, these are purely cosmetic blems. Will function 100% in a properly set up gun.
  7. Replied. For everyone, the blemished BCG's are also listed on my site in the drop down. http://www.dwilsonmfg.com/store/p18/AR10_Bolt_carrier_Group.html
  8. I still have a handful of these left.
  9. I would probably use a nitride BCG from d.wilson mfg, but I'm a bit partial.
  10. I'm in Oshkosh. I'd be interested in the receiver set if you're interested in parting it out.
  11. They are all first come first serve. I have a small pile of them, so there might still be one left by then.
  12. I manufacture BCG's and have a pile of blemished 308 BCG's that I can't sell normally. All are new and un-fired, but do have some handling marks on the finish or very light tooling marks on the dust cover area. 13. For the most part. There's a large mis-understanding that NiB is effortless to clean, but generally any well lubricated BCG is easy to clean. You have to understand the baked on carbon is going to need to be chipped away no matter the finish type.
  14. We have been talking via email. We're sorting through some different nickle suppliers still., unfortunately. If I could interest you in a QPQ carrier, which to be honest produces a much more durable finish and overall tougher part, I have plenty that I can ship out as soon as tomorrow. Also, I recently changed over my email to sales@dwilsonmfg.com
  15. FYI. The code is still up and I'm still offering a 10% discount to forum members.
  16. Not for a while. We have a few prototypes, but nothing marketable for the foreseeable future.
  17. You can use Code: lightweight to get a better price
  18. I have a Nitride one as well. Price lowered to $120 shipped on either.
  19. Code is still good.
  20. Anyone one of a good place to find upper and lower (that takes SR-25/Pmags) blueprints out there?
  21. Right around 9.5 oz. Nothing particularly special about the design. Pretty similar to a common 556 carrier out there, only with about 3 oz of material removed. They are indeed coated with a licensed 3M nickel boron.
  22. I have a lightweight BCG for sale. Feel free to IM me with any questions. Asking $160 shipped (USPS MO or PP Gift)
