  1. I have seen quite a few people say they like the Wilson much better than a Geissele. No experience with either, but that's what I have read on other forums. I sent them a question last week from work and Vance called me, I think it was Vance. I am a Contracting Officer for the government so he might've thought my inquiry was about business, but even if not, he was very responsive. I just don't want to buy one because of a good price deal and be sorry. I kinda subscribe to the buy once cry once theory, but I've seen others on here including you that like them and that is reassuring.
  2. Thanks. That's a great deal. I wonder how the trigger stacks up to a Wilson TR TTU?
  3. I'm ready to order my trigger now. What do you all recommend? The main purpose of the rifle is steel and hunting. I am going to limit this rifle to around 650 yds for steel. I'm thinking more on the lines of a single stage. I don't want more than 4 lbs. My budget is between $250 and $275.
  4. Seems friendlier than some others I belong too
  5. Well they are not boots and they are not camo, but they are underneath a kick*** rifle so that should account for something
  6. Well the last time I peronally saw anybody wear slides without socks was in the shower trailer at FOB Danger in Iraq circa 2004. I always wear socks with them, but I do not wear socks when I wear my Tivas. I have thick skin so wale away fellas. No worries.
  7. Thanks guys.
  8. Maten MKM set extended rifle length Mega 16" barrel Cryptic Coatings NiB BCG VLTOR Emod stock Ergo grip Syrac adjustable gas block clamp on Elftmann push button safety
  9. Still have to get trigger and install safety. Waiting on safety detent spring to install safety. My brake is still on back order from Rainier. Turned out pretty good so far. My ergo rail covers will be here tomorrow or Tuesday so that should tie it together as they are dark earth so should be some contrast and make it pop.
  10. The 155's are wicked deadly on Kentucky deer. Took two in 2014 with 155 Amax and furthest either of them went was 10 yds.
  11. Small cheap stuff; a can of Royal Purple Maxfilm spray lube today. Coated my bcg with it.
  12. Been lurking for a while, but decided to join the other day. I have the following in the mail: Mega Maten MKM extended rifle length set (will be at my FFL tomorrow 23 Feb) Mega 16" barrel Cryptic Coatings NiB BCG (received an hour ago) Syrac adjustable gas block Ergo deluxe grip VLTOR EMOD stock Elftmann Tactical push button safety Rainier milspec buffer tube kit Silencerco Saker Trifecta brake (on back order) Rainier mid length gas tube (on back order) Strike Industries enhanced mag catch Should have everything except the back order items by Saturday. The BCG that I got today looks phenomenal. Can't find any machine marks whatsoever. The Ole lady cut me off at $1850 so trigger and optics will have to wait a little while.
