I'd worry more about ammo than I would about any of the barrels that have been mentioned in this thread. They will all shoot under MOA with the right ammo.

Definitely wear ears while hunting and at the range. I shot without ears for about 20 years then one day my ears started ringing and never stopped. That was 20 years ago. I have tinnitus. 40% loss in my left ear and 20% loss in my right ear. If you think ringing constantly is not that bad think again. I was miserable for a few years until I got used to it. Now I have a heard time hearing, forget about holding a conversation with a lot of background noise, and I hear crickets 24/7. You may not notice a shot while hunting, but the nerves in your ears are being damaged with each shot. There is only one thing in my life that I would like a do over on and it would be shooting with ears every time I have ever pulled a trigger in my life.

They can sell them all day long at a show. You pay for them first then the paperwork begins. If anyone at your show took one home that day it was arranged prior and just delivered at the show.

39 states say they are legal to own/use in their state. Feds say you can legally own them with a tax stamp. It is up to the states to determine legality and use in their respective state.

I think it is beyond time for the feds to pull suppressors out of the NFA and let them be purchased like a firearm. It will happen one day I hope.

Little different situation. Try to find a suppressor manufacturer that will sell you one without a tax stamp. Will never happen because the ATF would pull their license.

NFA is federal. States cannot do away with it.
