  1. 10-4....Bummer on my part.
  2. Make offer and no trades. I can use the shelf space! I can't find how to edit this thing?
  3. Wanting to sell my new dpms HIGH rail that I never used. 15 or 15.5" and comes with all necessary parts to mount. Has small knick mark from which I don't know from what. Hard to really see but I want to show any flaws I can to the buyer. Willing to trade but only for a cmmg mk3 11" keymod rail. PayPal or money order is good. Call or text for any questions. Mike 928-451-6574 $160 shipped or trade
  4. Aero upper, lower and BCG with DPMS gen 2 extractor Aero buffer/tube and spring Bravo B5 stock Magpul end plate POF 4.5 drop in trigger/KNS anti walk pins Noveske Raptor charging handle Odin works 12.5" Mlok rail Griffin paladin brake And for the high end, yet most expensive part everyone wants to know about.......................... Bear Creek Arsenal 16" midlength gas system barrel :O Buying a Aero Precision 16" mid and having it cut to 14.5" and skipping out on a stamp by pinning/welding the brake. Near future is a 12.5" POF SBR This shoots great as it is. I just want a matched set up for the main components. I should listen to my gut and not touch it cause it's my work horse short/mid range gun that works great.
  5. I think I will keep this build and start another. Great to be apart of this forum
  6. Call me snake
  7. I'm already thinking if the next build....always
  8. I live in central Arizona and love tactical firearms. I enjoy them all even black powder guns from time to time. I'm a mechanic by trade and like to build stuff as opposed to buy first off. Built handfuls of AR15s but always wanted to build a 308 AR platform. My first attempt was successful but had to workout a few bugs and still will I'm sure. Mostly used Aero Precision parts. I skimped on the barrel to test it out and will be possibly going 14.5" pinned brake with a good barrel. I'm running a Bear Creek Arsenal 16" midlength gas system barrel. So far it's doing great! Thanks for having me Mike aka Plissken
  9. Awesome guys. I tried not to sound completely like an @$$hole :) good feedback and thank you. I was going to consider a 12.5" barrel on my current DPMS/Aero rifle. But go midlength gas. I'm finding adjustable gas blocks are the way to go for fine tuning due to wide range of ammo usage. I'd like to use nato stuff due to price and availability. Availability is more is important and nato spec stuff is easy to find and practice with. My 16" gun runs good but a little shorter is what I'm after. If I had the spare change I'd highly consider a POF 12.5 piston upper. But I enjoy building more.
  10. Good to know. I will run both of them.
  11. I like short guns. I have a 556 SBR and short range to medium is what I like. I DONT want to hear "go 300 blackout". I have one and it's a suppressed gun. Does it's job well. I reload my own aswell. Can I get some info on a successful and functional SBR build in 308? What gas system and barrel length? Adj gas block or not? Suppressed and unsuppressed. What buffer/spring? What's your combo and is it reliable is what I'm after. First thing I'm going to hear is "why?" I didn't ask for a debate,I'm looking for SBR guys to chime in and not people who haven't been there and done that. Thanks in advance
  12. Built my own 308 based AR with mostly Aero Precision Stuff. First build in the 308 platform for me but many on the 5.56 small AR. After around 100rds and a few issues I disassembled the bolt to clean the extractor and to inspect it. Found 2 o-rings stacked instead of the standard 1 that I've always seen... Anyone else seen this? Took out a o-ring and put 40 more rounds down it and does great. Atleast I think it does. Brass ejects around 2-3 o'clock (right handed) I think before it was similar spread.
