  1. Got it in hand and I have to say the pics don't give it justice, A2 sight grind down looks great, pro job man. Thanks, I will go to the range tomorrow and give it a run.
  2. Make sense about the mags, should have tried half mag first.
  3. Looking good, thnks Bro! Lol this is my Friday off week, will be at range on Friday ?
  4. 98z5v We will talk tonight on the phone, but you have already done so much for me to figure out this issue.
  5. The PSA rail system has a triangle front that no one else uses I am guessing, I am going to replace that soon too to be able to put a picatinny rail system.
  6. Where is the drooling face because I need to post it here " "
  7. Thnks again 98Z5V for stepping up and helping me out when the rep from PSA on this board didn't even step in early on and offer some support.
  8. I see some time me buying 98Z5V a beer or 10! Thanks again Bro!
  9. Thnks 98Z5V
  10. lol, Yeah we have already exchanged gas system about a few months ago to try to get me up and running, I trust him, just going to give him a call if I can. As far as bourbon goes, the bottle will be empty before it even makes it to the mail box on the way to him, lol.
  11. 98Z5v, I will send you a PM, we can talk
  12. Ok, so see past post about the issues I have been having in the past, see below. https://forum.308ar.com/topic/16329-pa10-gen-2-tube-marks/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-248346 https://forum.308ar.com/topic/16145-pa10-gen-ii-my-findings-on-parts-info-and-range-data-log/?page=3&tab=comments#comment-245834 This is a continuation of the past post but wanted to put this in a new post so it’s easy to find. I went out the lease last weekend and was hoping that my issues from before were resolved but by no they were not. I am still having issues with my PA10 and I am getting really frustrated with it. So, in the past I was given the wrong buffer tube/spring and buffer as seen in the post by 98Z5V here the-problems-with-the-pa-10-carbine-recoil-system, thanks again 98Z5V for offering up the help and posting your findings. Well 98Z5V sent me his Armalite gas system to use as a test. Well below are the results of it: I am still having the issues with the 1 shot/no shot after. I have done may test and it seems that the bolt is not fully setting after the first shot, thus no second shot. I have done several tests with different mags and different rounds and the same result, 1 shot then no second because bolt does not set all the way. Something that I was alerted to at lease from my cousin is there are markings in the upper receiver, so I looked for my self and sure enough the bolt seems to be doing some damage inside the upper. As far as the mags go, I can not load either of my mags if the bolt is closed, only when the bolt is open. This maybe causing an issue too, not sure but if so then there is an issue maybe with my lower. Maybe I am doing something wrong but this has been a pain in my ass from the beginning and I am really regretting getting this gun, looks like next step is to contact PSA and return it. See Images Below:
  13. I come off harsh, maybe a little frustrated but I want PSA to work. I am a little harsh at times coming off and will work on that, I do appreciate you guys who have been working this out and have helped ones like me out on the boards, even though at times I don't know what I am talking about. I will wait to see what PSA has to say about this before we move on to the transfer because I want this to work and love this gun if it works. I have to head to bed now and thank you again for all your help. And you should not offer to buy me an alt item if they (PSA) should fix their stuff.
  14. That's the issue, if I buy something from a manufacture, that manufacture should provide a product that is working. I know there are fluctuations in the manufacturing and can get a bad product from time to time but after being on these boards it seems its not a oops item its a QA/QC issues. I want to support this company so much after seeing their story but they are making it so hard for me who doesn't have a lot of money and looking for something in my budget that I can go hunt with and its reliable out in the field. I should not have to go out and buy their competitors product to get their product to work right. I think this is going to be a send back to them and get refund if they cant get it right, then I will have 2 paper weights, ar15/pa10 stripped lowers from PSA. I guess we will see what their rep on the boards say, I want to have this gun but not willing to be their QA/QC guy.
  15. Sorry, I miss spoke, when I said BCG I meant the buffer. Again I am not use to this so forgive me. In the first pic the buffer was setting right I thought, when I try to do another turn as the second pic the ear does sit to low and buffer will not stay in buffer tube. Does this make sense?
  16. It was when I tried the extra turn really quick, but no when I shoot it at the position in the original pic it holds it. I just posted if I do one more turn it dose not hold the BCG and don't feel that I should go gun smith and alt it to just get my gun to work right.
  17. No I did not notch out anything, just pulled buffer and turned buffer tube once more and it would not keep the BCG, I personally don't believe I should have to mod something that should be fixed right.
  18. Ok, took it apart really quick and here are some picks. Yeah to tight wont hold BCG and spring
  19. lol yeah I think we are the test subjects I will try to give it another turn and see what happens, but have to head to bed now because 4:45am comes quick. 'Thanks for the input
  20. Yeah I am a little confused which is not hard to do since this is new to me. So it looks like I have a light buffer based off its a H and I have some damage because buffer tube is not sitting right? BTW, Inside buffer tube length is 7 5/8".
  21. Sorry got busy at work and had family come in, so: I went to the range and had issues but think its because I did not lube up the gun after every 3 shots and that's my bad, but all in all I love this gun. So, I did use a mix of steel and brass, I know don't yell at me but I did not have a lot of choice. Steel ammo: I would get 1 shot off and it would chamber new round but not fire, I would discharge that round and it would load new round and would not fire, then again discharge that round and chamber a new round and it would fire. This would be a common theme as I would get 1 round off and have to discharge 3 others. Brass: I would get 1 shot off them chamber a new round and then a click and nothing, I would then have to discharge that round and chamber a new round then get a shot off. It would not jam and it would load new round but then again a click and nothing. I would have to discharge that round and then I could get a round off. This seemed to be a theme, I would get a round off then either have to manually eject 1 or 2 before I could get next round off deepening on either brass or steel round. I think I did not run it wet enough and will try to be better prepared for this next go. I also want to say I did use cheap ammo and this was only for range use and will be using better ammo when it gets close to hunting season. So below is what ammo I used and the first target from the range, I shot at 50 yrds and I did have better grouping on second target change out but did not stick around for the next round of target change out. The ones with the letter "B" is the Brass rounds I used and was the first rounds I used to sight in my scope. So not sure if this is worth anything but here we go: Ammo for reference (Only have Steel shown but brass was same): I know its cheap but thats what I had at the time.
