Cue pity party music. I been looking at the UBR G2 butt stocks since they were released. I like them, but I want to change up the colors. I'm not finding options to mix/match. And I'm not about buying two in different colors to change things up for what I want. I'm looking for a Black / Foliage mix. Short of buying two, is there anywhere to buy one as I'm wanting? Probably pay through the azz to get one in a configuration like I'm wanting.

That may very well be. Not that I'm questioning that, but considering this is my first large frame rodeo, I like to get visuals and hands on for piece of mind. I'm currently waiting for the LPK, trigger, and the longer gas tube. I'm liking how things are coming together. Thanks again Z

I called them to ask, why the difference. I told the lady I spoke with, that "G" and Noveske had no mention of x739 model on the site. She told me that CTD does not always do the listings, and that they (whatever retailer) does input the info. CTD is a central listing/distribution point for retailers throughout the U.S., and whatever is ordered, comes from the closest stocking warehouse, and drop-shipped. The prices were said to increase/decrease based on location as well. I then let her know I planned to return the one that was $30 more than the first, after it arrives. LOL!! BTW, I bought the first because it was cheap. Last time I ordered anything from them, was YEARS ago. No drama. The OP was a legitimate concern for those with a straight up response. Super Badass 7.62x39 Super Badass 7.62x51NATO

I chose the Noveske (Geissele) Super Badass as the charging handle for my AR308 build. When ordering, I over looked that it was for 7.62x39. The order was already processed, so I let it ride. Then ordered the 7.62x51 model. Meanwhile, the x39 model arrived. I decided to test functionality. Surprisingly, it works fine. Huh? WTH? Now I'm REALLY curious the differences of the two. Both charge handles being 7.62, I want to physically see the differences between them, that justifies a $40 difference in price x39 vs x51. I'll find out next week when the x51 model arrives. More later. I'm all ears if anyone can tell me the differences.

When I installed the GB, noticing where the hole in the barrel, in relation to the GB itself didn't even cross my mind. I just installed it, after adding a counter-bore for the forward set screw. The Armalite tube extending further into the key, I like. I'll do a dry run again. Now my concern is bottoming out to the key. For piece of mind I want to know how much free-play (float) there is. Cutting/reshaping the end with my Dremel if necessary.

That would be my approach. The only way I would go about it. Regarding the gas tube: I did a dry run to determine how far the gas tube extends in-to the receiver. That measurement is 19mm. **This measurement is based on the upper receiver, barrel and gas tube in my OP.**

I've considered the JP Silent Capture Buffer system. I'm open to discretion, as/to what configuration to buy.

My build is for the most, done. Here we go.
