  1. They're not MLOK Guys!! Thanks for keeping my need on your radars!!!
  2. All in all, good read.
  3. I can't find any ODG MLOK Squid Grips. They've been discontinued. 😱 Has anyone 👀 any out there? Does anyone happen to have any they'd let go? I'll gladly buy them, and pay shipping!!
  4. Haha, sorted. I was dead tired when I made my OP.
  5. She really POPs under the smokey orange skies.
  6. I ordered complete Bolt Carrier. When I opened the packaging, it was the Carrier only. Already in route to PA for the full meal deal. It looks as I planned, anyway! The scope and mount are not definitive. The combo is a bit on the heavy side.
  7. The edit feature here, is irritating!! Updated and added too. What are the rules pertaining to AR pistol laws in WA? Any firearm that started life as a rifle and has an OAL under 26" = SBR. Doesn't matter if it has a stock, brace, or just a grip. Felony without a tax stamp. Any firearm that started life as a rifle and has a barrel under 16" = SBR. Doesn't matter if it has a stock, brace, or just a grip. Felony without a tax stamp. Brace with no foregrip = pistol. Barrel length doesn't matter. Legal. Brace + angled foregrip = pistol. Legal. Brace + vertical foregrip with overall length under 26 inches (not including brace length and muzzle device) = AOW. Felony without a tax stamp. Brace + vertical foregrip with overall length over 26 inches (not including brace length and muzzle device) = firearm. Legal. Stock with overall length under 26 inches = SBR. Barrel length doesn't matter. Felony without a tax stamp. Stock + rifled barrel under 16 inches = SBR. OAL doesn't matter. Felony without a tax stamp. Stock + rifled barrel over 16 inches and overall length more than 26 inches = rifle. Legal. _____________________________________ Washington really has no laws regarding AR pistols. As another stated, if the barrel length is less than 16", or if it is designed to be shot with one hand it's a pistol. Notice the OR. Just follow ATF rules if you want to be safe from fed boy hassles. But even then there's a 9th district ruling(we're 9th district) that appears to say VFG are legal on pistols. IIRC it's US v Fix. _____________________________________ Well in that case since you said "the “arm brace” can’t be changed out" I assume it's has a brace now and has always been a pistol? In that case you're all good, just don't add a VFG unless it has an overall length as measured by the ATF of 26". I'm not sure what you mean "changed out" on the brace, you can change for a different brace, take the brace off, etc. You just can't put on a stock or modify the brace to make less bracey or more stocky. I suggest if you travel with it I suggest you make copies of a couple documents and keep them with you. 1. Whatever best ATF letter applies to your brace. 2. A copy of [RCW 9.41.010](https://app.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=9.41.010) (23) Makes me wonder if it's possible to get a copy of a 4473.
  8. Below seems to be the explained confusion What are the rules pertaining to AR pistol laws in WA? Brace with no foregrip = pistol. Barrel length doesn't matter. Legal. 9. On my list to build, has been a 12.5" AR308. I kicked the thought around of doing so, since 2019. I began picking things off the list. Fast forward, the final bits and pieces are in route. Now, due to the current state of ATF confusion, I'm hesitant and frustrated. I am medically disabled of the left hand. Hence my braced build. This build has a 12.5" barrel, and 28-1/4" (crown to rec tube) OAL. It has a SBA3 Brace. I have read legal terminology. I'm still confused the classification of said. Help me clear my brain fog. What have I built? Pistol, SBR, Other?
  10. Your results with the 5.56 build, thats good to hear. This build, I'm skeptical. I'm confident it will run, but it will run like hoe in the knoe, and I'll need the AGB, due-too the OSS can design. We will see. The rest of the puzzle will arrive next week. Have a good weekend!
  11. I think this build is gonna shine. I'm going with a str8 gas system. The gas port on the barrel looks to be plenty open, so I'm going to try it before I eat $$$ in an adjustable. I plan to run it with and without a can to start. A Superlative AGB if it's necessary, later. Let's just assume I'm excited a scosche. Haha. I'll update after the first range trip. Enjoy your Labor Day Weekend All!!!
  12. I decided to dig through the spare parts today. Good move on my part. The savings were several Benjamins. Labor Day sales hit, just right. I found the rest on sale at Primary Arms. 🙂
  13. It's been a while. Call me Turtle. Time to get moving on this build list!! Howdy Folks!
  14. No idea why the SB Tactical SBA3 never come to mind. I have it on a couple rigs already. Haha. Thanks for the wake-up
  15. Receiver Extension and Brace Kit, RipBrace™, Standard Receiver Extension and Brace Kit, RipBrace™, Micro/CQB I never thought (Duh!) of going direct to SB Tactical. Pistol Stabilizing Brace SBA3
  16. I've been looking at them, trying to figure out what one will work. There's the CQB Model, and Standard Model. I can't find info on tube lengths. $199.00 for the tube and brace. I am building a pistol, and these are (still) approved by the ATF as such. The buffer and spring get tossed in the spare parts box. The 5.3oz shorty buffer makes sense, I want to be absolutely sure there will be no issues with the carrier hitting.
  17. Aero Precision M5 upper & lower receiver AP-LPK & UPK, NIB 7.62 BCG Super Bad Ass 7.62 CH MW Industries 12.65" High Profile HG
  18. I need to find what buffer tube, spring, and weight combo will be my problem solver. The above will be for a "pistol" build exclusively, for compliance and recognition. I would like to go CMMG tube and SBA3 config, If things are compatible. Help, PLEASE. LOL!!!!!
  19. KAK 12.5" Stainless Barrel = Received AP M5 Upper, Lower, LPK (Less FCG), Port Door = In Route BCG = Needed SLR7 Adj GB = Needed Gas Tube = Needed (waiting to assemble to determine length needed) Buffer Tube = Needed Buffer Spring = Needed Buffer (5.3oz) = Needed FCG (Larue MBT Flat) = Needed Any input where to find things on sale is welcome!! 😉
  20. I have a look to maintain, so I'm hard set on the (corrected from post #7) Midwest 😎
  21. That's a great price alright. I'm not a proprietary guy, though. But you "looking out" was nice!
  22. Good suggestion. And out of stock. Parts are getting scarce. Good thing I'm not in a hurry.
  23. Hey man, hope things are well. I DO plan on suppressing. There's an OSS Hx-QD Helix marinating in the system. I'm thinking it should be ready to cook, in July or so. I'm waiting for the barrel to arrive, and planned to get a Superlative Arms AGB. That could change if a better option is available, I need to do more research. The Hand Guard is another concern. Probably go with Midwest, unless I can find an elusive. I don't recall the manufacturers name. A ToolCraft BCG, works for me.
  24. That's GREAT info. Thanks!! This topic has a wealth of knowledge.
  25. Thanks for reminding me of CDNN. I had an account. It needed updating. I'm now up to date with them again. I wondered why I never got email notifications, I had to update my email!!!
