The 2 cases of priv partisan match i ordered is about 60 cents per round, not bad for accurate quality ammo imo. Once I get geared up for reloading, (which means from scratch! Dad sold everything before he passed without telling me) I'm going to dig in to researching copper bullets.

I have no knowledge of the copper bullets now out. Are they more expensive, same performance and accuracy? How do they expand compared to Conventional heads? Very interesting!

I thought so, better than federal was selling for when i bought from PSA. Wanted to get some rounds built up in case democraps foul things up & cause a shortage or the price to skyrocket!

Nice! I have a local range up to 200yds. Where we ground hog hunt, I've got distances out to 1800yds.

Another question for y'all. What options do I have for carrying an extra mag or 2 with this rifle configuration I posted above? (10 round pmags) normally I put a butt stock carrier/comb piece combo. But with this stock, that doesn't look to be a good option

I know the ball ammo will not be Precision like what I'm using now or even better yet reloads. I was mainly curious about how a lighter bullet would hold up at further distances. Also slightly stumped why different weights are different prices depending on the brand. Seems like they just hold the price up higher on the more desired weights because they can...

Thanks! I plan on reloading down the road. Using factory right now though. Found I can get the 149's 1/3 cheaper than 168, or 175gr. Curious why such a price difference

I wanted to ask the opinion of you gentleman on different weight bullets for my RPR 308. I'm currently shooting federal gold 168gr Sierra match, shoots well so far. What are your opinions on 149gr, limitations etc.? I'm assuming a lighter bullet will not preform as well out far as a heavier bullet that is why I'm asking here because I am not as knowledgeable as most of you. Any information would be great, thank you
