I've been using the weapons shied a while, was getting it direct.( they are 5 minutes up the road from me) I've got it into some local gunshops i deal with & they actually give me a better price(good discount for spending an ass load $$$over the years) but figured I'd ask here. You fellows have seen enough & have enough experience to know what works the best & I highly value the info & opinions I get here.

What do you guys use for lube in your weapons? I use to use hoppes(like dad did). Past 7 years or so, I've been using Weapons Shield products(oil&lithium grease). Seems to have worked great over the years. Never had any problems with the oil running down into the gun when stored upright in the safe for lengths of time. Guns seem easier to clean, less build up, less wear, no rust. But I'm always interested in other's insight & finding something better.
