I think you guys gave me an idea for a contest prize. I like Beachin slings. They are $30 less than others that are similar.

I stand corrected, Beachin does have slings in stock. Very nice.

Ronin says there are other, even better designs in slings. I could care less about his tats. This guy knows gun fighting. The point of the video is to show the importance of a sling and how important it is. I think his view is interesting.

This guy has a good channel on YouTube. He talks about the evolution of gun fighting. From what he used to do 20 years ago, and how his tactics evolved. Here he talks about the importance of driving a rifle, and utilizing a sling correctly.

I'm in favor of the mindset Gideon had, "let GOD be your king, and obey his commandments". Above all things, I value righteousness. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Actually, the shells did show 2 scratches. They didn't dent the case, but it did scratch it. I'll be going shooting again soon, and show some pictures. I did look for that. They were just very light.

There certainly is a lot of truth of what you're saying. I just want to go to work and build stuff, and be left alone, like most people. I'm open to listening. Define "legal", and who decides what is legal? We are all created equal. No Pope or King has any more rights than you. If I was your neighbor, and walked over to your house and said "give me your rifle. I've decided you don't need it". You would say, "by what right do you have to request this"? Whether a man rides a motorcycle, or drives a car, authority should always be questioned. "Where did you acquire the right to rule over me"? Any man who questions authority, is a friend of mine. Throughout history, we have seen the super wealthy seek to use mental methods to convince the world to be their willing slaves. This isn't news, as it's been going on for thousands of years. America is ground zero for freedom. First and foremost, we need to recognize, we are all created equal, and no one is above the law.

Most of the members of motorcycle clubs are veterans. I certainly agree with them. They didn't go fight in absolute chaos, only to come home to be told what they fought for will be taken away. I'm thinking a motorcycle might be an investment right now.

So I finally got my mess together and made it to the range and shot my brand new rifle. A few years ago, Palmetto State Armory had some issues with this platform. Instead of ignoring their customers, they worked with them. They sent rifles to a few gun reviewers on YouTube, and asked "what is wrong with this rifle". This was a smart move on their part, in my opinion. My rifle was produced 2 months ago, so it's their latest run. So here is my results for my first time with it. Shooting Federal 7.62X51 149 GR FMJ. This is a light bullet but I got it at a good price. I figured it was fine for break in. Zero failures to feed Zero failures to eject Did not chew up my brass. With every shot I was expecting problems. I was nervous about the Law Tactical folding stock causing buffer issues. I installed my own Geissele trigger, which was a concern, because I'd never done that before. This was my first time shooting this this platform, so today was just about getting used to things. I had no problems whatsoever. The rifle performed flawlessly. As for the accuracy, honestly I was all over 10 moa @ 100 yards, trying to sight in without a spotting scope, so I need to go back and get dialed in better. At least I know my rifle does function. I paid $612 for this rifle. I couldn't be happier. I see older runs having issues, and folks here say to swap gas tube out. I didn't have any problems with mine, so I think if you buy new, from here forward, you shouldn't have a problem. On their website, there is a notify tab on their rifles, so you'll get an email when they have another run for sale. A run usually sells in 2 days. So there ya go, that's mah range report. Super stoked about how my rifle shot today. Cant wait to get back to the range. Peace

I've been seeing bolt action 50 BMG's for about $3,000. So I emailed Palmetto State Armory asking them to start making them, and let's get that price down to $600. I've been waiting for a response for 3 days. I wish they would hurry.
