  1. Well i tried the factory round and still no luck. I'm wondering what the difference is between a regular bolt and the high pressure one
  2. Yes, ejectors and extractor were removed.
  3. Ok. I got my go no go gauges in yesterday and decided to check my headspace. I couldn't get the bolt to turn on the go guage. Toolcraft bcg with high pressure bolt and double ejectors. Barrel is not installed on the upper. I don't have an extra bolt or anyone that could lend one to check. Is there anything to do without having to buy another bolt?
  4. Welcome from GA! What part of the deep south are you in?
  5. May be a while. Trying to catch parts on sale to save some money. But will definitely let you know what it does. 👍🏻
  6. I've learned more here about large frame ar's then all the other places I've searched and read combined. The amount of knowledge here is amazing!
  7. That's awesome! Thanks, this was really appreciated!
  8. That's what I'm hoping for! Thanks for all the welcomed everyone!
  9. I followed a link somebody posted from the ar10 sub on reddit
  10. Definitely not drilling anything until i know for sure lol
  11. Thanks man. And my journal size .875 and it's rifle length gas. I plan on running the rifle length buffer system and know the buffer should be around 5 inches and weigh 5.4oz or so if i remember correct with the spring being a certain number of coils as well. I know I've seen a lot mention spring co as good options so that's probably the route I'll take.
  12. I know this is a .308 forum but I've decided to build mine in 6.5 creed. The parts i have so far are: Aero m5 upper and lower Toolcraft bcg Wilson combat super sniper 22" I decided to go ahead and check the gas port diameter and came up with it being the same size as a 5/64 drill bit which my el cheapo calipers that only go back 2 digits reads as .07 . I believe that's too small from what I've read. So my question is what should it be?
  13. Hello all. I've been doing some lurking and researching here trying to obtain as much info as possible for my first large frame ar build. I've been very pleased and impressed with the amount of knowledge I've come across here.
