maten308 Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 I'm going to use a 22" BHW .936 barrel .308 win. should I use a standard gas block or an adjustable? any help would be appreciated.
FaRKle! Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 I assume you're using a rifle or longer gas port (anything shorter would be lunacy!), therefore there's no reason to go to an adjustable gas block. Adjustable gas blocks are primarily for short barrels/gas systems that are overgassed (and much more so when run suppressed).
Robocop1051 Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 If anything at all, a switch block instead of an adjustable gas block. It'll give you the option to completely shut off the gas for super accurate bench shooting. The only reason you'd need an adjustable gas block for your rifle is if you were using a lightweight BCG (Like the JP LMOS) and buffer assembly.
