FaRKle!
description may say milspec. question is....is it milspec, or just milspec sized.if it's actually milspec, than id guess they probably buy them from the same people making a number of other home branded tubes. Probably just milspec diameter. I thought Leapers = Made in China. Don't quote me on that though.UTG's "Pro" line is made in the US I believe. Doesn't mean I'll use them though. D.R.D.
Alright, just saw this: http://aresarmor.com/store/Item/ar_buffer_tube_carbine?utm_content=davidjlepp%40gmail.com&utm_source=VerticalResponse&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=AR15%2FAR10%20Forged%20Carbine%20Buffer%20Tube&utm_campaign=24%20Hours%20ONLY%2E%20What%20could%20it%20be%3Fcontent How can this be AR15/10? It looks smaller than the Vltor. ....Still so confused between the differences of ar15/ar10/A5/etc extension tubes...
survivalshop
Std collapsable Receiver extensions for the AR 15 & 308AR's are the same . You get into Vltor & Armalite , they have different lengths . This is the first advertised Forged Receiver Extension I have seen . I may order one to see how they look. D.R.D.
So, what's the difference between springs and buffers that would be run in standard collapsible receiver extensions vs. Armalite/Vltor?
D.R.D.
Wish I would have seen this a long while back. Answers all my questions above, pretty much:
