trying to enable a friend into building his first ar308

My buddy is a spec ops high speed, and be wants to do the thunder ranch competition, and I have been trying to push him towards an ar308 for quite awhile.

I told him that he could start with a cool matched upper and lower from si defense or mega, but I honestly dont know all that much, as I haven't done or a planned a build.

Please, enable me to enable him ;-)

I am looking for ultimate high dollar lightweight matched upper and lower, best bang for the buck, and the cheapest that'll do.

Needs a dust cover, deflector, and forward assist.
