Cali_Ed
im able to get either brass, I'm wondering which I would be better off with. The hornady I can get .20 and the lc lr for .25 (comes ss tumbled). Which one should I get bulk of. I'm looking for brass I can just start cranking out ammo to store. I'm assuming you guy will say the cheaper one?

Cali_Ed
How many loads has the hornady lasted?
bubbasks
I had some hot loads that warped the primer pocket first load. They werent even THAT hot. Toned em down and i have 3 cycles on em but i put em away and have been using a same lot of federal brass from some fgmm.

Cali_Ed
Lc has less capcity right?
98Z5V
Water test the cases. It should be slightly less.
survivalshop
Less capacity ( marginal ), but stronger made case with more material at the web & base of the case . With moderate loading the cases will last longer . Annealing even makes them last even longer , as long as the primer pocket retains its retention spec's. I just went through my old 5.56 brass , not sure how many reloadings , but after checking primer pocket retention , I tossed about 1/3 of them & another 15 % because of splits in the case neck . ( before I annealed cases ) This is with almost five hundred cases.
