Cali_Ed Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 (edited) Right behind the rifle? As I progress further in my shooting abilities I'm finding out what works best for Me .Sitting behind the rifle, maybe slightley of to right feels the most natrual to me. When I first started at of to the right like everyone else, felt unnatural and un comfterable. Is this the wrong way? Edited March 8, 2015 by Cali_Ed
unforgiven Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 I try to be square to the rifle.Perpendicular to the stock.
HansRey Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 I have noticed it depends on the rifle and caliber and what feels right to me. Like with my sig I'm usually off to the left of it, but when shooting the .338 I'm usually behind it. Like I said just depends on what I'm shooting and how I feel.
FlatwoodsHunter Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 The older I get the harder it is for me to really get comfortable behind my scope. My glasses are a real pain where once I just made sure everything was squared up and on target. Now I find myself twisting my head in order to really see through the scope. Maybe I can get the eye doctor to help me out with a different pair of glasses for shooting. I'm not sure there is a wrong way if you are hitting your target. :auto:
