I'm so THANKFUL for our law officers and can't imagine what they go through on a daily basis. The problem with a lot of thugs is they have no respect for authority, THEY NEED TO LEARN.

The older I get the harder it is for me to really get comfortable behind my scope. My glasses are a real pain where once I just made sure everything was squared up and on target. Now I find myself twisting my head in order to really see through the scope. Maybe I can get the eye doctor to help me out with a different pair of glasses for shooting. I'm not sure there is a wrong way if you are hitting your target. :auto:

dpete, on the trigger I have the Aero complete lower (M5) with the stock trigger and it is very nice, mine is any way. I know there are better after market triggers but I am happy with my stock trigger. I have a 6.8 with a mil spec trigger and my son has a dpms 308 as well. Aero trigger is better on these three rifles by far. Looking forward in seeing yours put together.

Is Aim good to deal with? I'm looking at the AP bcg for my 308 build now I'm doing a double take, this looks like a good deal.

Hello Everyone, Let me start with a Thank You for such a good place to read up on the 308 AR's. I'm not totally new to the AR family, last year I built a 6.8 spc in the ar15 with a 18" barrel. It's a shooter and have killed three deer this year with it but with all due respect its no 308. My plans are to keep my six8 for close range hunting under 200 yds, and building me a 308 for longer ranges and bigger critters. Parts I have for my 308 build are as of now is a Aero Precision upper receiver and Aero complete lower. The rest to be added later and funds come available.
