barrel diameter .750 or .936? trying to find gas block

I'm not really sure how to tell? I guess I'm going to have to take it to the local gun dealer?

The barrel can be eather one of those. You need to get you a sliding caliper and a simple measurement will tell you what you ask. The are about 25 buck at any autozone.

It's not NASA, use a ruler or tape measure. Your talking about 3/4" or damn near 1". Either way, it's a pretty noticeable difference in measurement.

A heavy bull barrel, .936, would be a feature you should already know about your rifle. Otherwise the .750 is pretty much industry standard on a .308.

Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong in this?
