I recalled in earlier shooting, when I changed from a 4"Python to a 6", my recoil was less but the stamina needed to stay on target was increased. That was my basis. Velocity increase does ring true...less wasted energy when it propels the round over a longer distance because the burn rate is maximized

I also have a home built DPMS LR-308/AR10a2 Carbine, it is my second most favorite behind my Bazooka Bro’s AR15-45A2 Carbine. Wolf
