snipernuts Posted December 25, 2016 Report Posted December 25, 2016 hi guys!! so i'm lookin at my new purchase, the barrel nut needs a slight bump yet, its got this type of barrel nut: anyone know where i can get or borrow a wrench that fits? thanks! Greg
survivalshop Posted December 25, 2016 Report Posted December 25, 2016 (edited) What does the manufacturer recommend ? Who's the Manufacturer of the HG ? Some of these require a Proprietary wrench . You may have to buy & use their wrench. Looks like you can use a Spanner type wrench , as a last resort , but if you to use a Torque wrench for set up , your won't be able to . 98Z5V Posted December 25, 2016 Report Posted December 25, 2016 The pins on a standard AR armorers wrench work?
Tony b Posted December 26, 2016 Report Posted December 26, 2016 I used a strap wrench on a similar barrel nut.

Pending what APF says - and they should offer a damn wrench if their stuff is so special, or different - is an adjustable spanner wrench. Edited December 27, 2016 by 98Z5V
survivalshop Posted December 27, 2016 Report Posted December 27, 2016 Is this a AR 15 HG ? Its the only one I see on their Sight . A close up of their Barrel nut shows a smaller section at one end of the Barrel Nut .
