rcnut Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 apparently I have an Aero upper that is a high rail rather than a low rail. what is the down fall of the high one? if any. thank you
survivalshop Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 Might be an issue if you running a taper pinned A2 front sight , other then that , just make sure if your purchasing a Fee Float hand guard with a Rail , you order the correct one to match your Receivers rail height.
rcnut Posted February 1, 2017 Author Report Posted February 1, 2017 Thank you survivalshop! I had seen something like that before but could not find it, now it is etched in my brain. just one question, when mounting a scope will the slightly larger rail thickness cause any difficulty in setting my zero at 100 and give me less adjustments on elevation for longer shots????

It can depend on the scopes adjustability & how long of range you are talking about . As shown above the 20 MOA built into the mount will give more affability at longer ranges , if needed .
