jfeenin
If all goes right I should have my second AR platform rifle by the end of next week. That one will be a 7.62 caliber in full rifle length. My current one is an LMT MRP platform in 5.56 with a 16" barrel. Currently my LMT wears an ACOG TA11H. I'd love to run out and buy a Trijicon TR23-2G for the new one but funds aren't likely to allow for me to do that so I am looking at more affordable alternatives. One of them is to move the ACOG to the 30 cal and put an EOTECH 512 or 557 on the carbine. I am not sure though how the low power ACOG would work on a full length rifle. Does anyone have any experience with this particular ACOG on a .308? I'm gonna try it either way of course.

jfeenin
OK Well maybe not. I am not sure. I did pic up the new AR-10 yesterday. I went with a shorter barrel which would be more conducive to an ACOG but... The ACOG is sighted in already on the LMT and I really like it there. Money's a little tight after opting for the more expensive Armalite over the DPMS so I ordered a Walther red dot for it for now. We'll see how that goes when it arrives. I've already ordered an Ergo Grip for it as well. I love those things. <thumbsup>
