Rail System for AP4 LR308

Purchased an AP4 LR308 (carbine) about two months ago with the the standard free-float tube.  I want to change to a 4 or 6 rail system and saw that there are bolt on rail systems for AR15s for about $50 but haven't been able to find for AP4 LR308.  Does anyone know of any options for the AP4 LR308 like this or do you have to switch the entire free float tube ($180 plus gunsmith charges)?

the factory FF tube and barrel nut goes..  :(

Troy and most others include a DPMS compatible barrel nut with theres..

you just have to CHECK the specs on the proposed tube..

The Troy 13.8 MRF is pretty popular..

and now YHM and some others are getting in the DPMS 308 game..

read the notes on the UPPER height changes to make sure your upper RAIL will match the proposed Quad/Rail BUY..

I was going to do a RAIL.. but decided to stay factory VENTED aluminum FF tube instead.. and avoid the $$$ expense..

here she is all painted Desert Camo with Desert Camo 550 cord on the FF tube..

Very shortly Samson will have an evolution rail that bolt to a standard DPMS barrel nut

The APEX CNC Machine handguards clamp on to the standard DPMS barrel nut. They do not come with a nut, so you'll need to order one if don't already own one.
