dubya
Well I made an oops yesterday while trying to remove my muzzle brake on my PA10 upper. I'll just say it was bad enough (don't ask ?) that I'm just going to start over and buy a new complete upper, when funds allow. This should be a good parts kit if you have a stripped upper to build. Total round count on these parts is 460 factory loaded Federal and Hornady. $105 PayPal shipped in the US via USPS Priority mail includes: - complete BCG - charging handle - forward assist (may need a new roll pin) - dust cover If you have any questions, or want better/more pictures, feel free to PM or email me (bvw0914 at gmail.com) Cory Edited April 3, 2018 by dubya

dubya
3 minutes ago, washguy said: Rut Roh you didn't...you did...awe crap ! Wash All I'll say is i should have used a Mapp gas torch to heat it instead of propane. I got almost a full turn on the brake when it tightened up again and I heard a pop. Barrel nut sheared in half plus enough damage to the upper receiver to junk it.... lesson learned. Expensive lesson learned. Manfacturer specs said to use Loctite 272 on the brake, so I did. Next time it'll be Rock-Sett or blue Loctite. Edited April 3, 2018 by dubya
GoodByNAair
Sorry to hear about this, Bad day. If that BGC does not move I may PM you about. Spare parts for my PA 10.
dubya
Just now, GoodByNAair said: Sorry to hear about this, Bad day. If that BGC does not move I may PM you about. Spare parts for my PA 10. It was 100% stupidity and impatience on my end. I knew 272 was hard to remove but couldn't believe exactly how strong and heat resistant it is. I do have the 15" Mlok handguard off of it too but no barrel nut.
