Pochek1 Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 (edited) Hi all. New member and my first post. Im looking to buy a ar10. i have the opportunity to buy a diamondback db10 slightly used with 6 mags and a bag for 900 or a bran new saint for 1200. I dont know what to do. Im new to the ar world period let alone the ar 10. Is the saint a superior gun to the diamondback. I like the 16inch barrel with the 15 inch guard. I want to be able to maneuver it as freely as possible. I cant find anything online comparing the two. Id mainly use this rifle to hunt hoggs and coyotes. Not looking for anything over 4 to 500 yards. I dont want to fight cycling issues. Any help, direction, or experience would be greatly appreciated. Edited May 18, 2020 by Pochek1
Belt Fed Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 (edited) I have a few Diamondbacks, never had a problem. I hunt deer and hogs with them. I like them. never had any experience with the saint. here's three threads that show them. Edited May 18, 2020 by Belt Fed
98Z5V Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 They're both good, and will easily do what you want them to do. The DB sounds like a better deal, and is already proven reliable, by the previous owner.
