Cavalry Doc Posted September 30, 2011 Report Posted September 30, 2011 I have a LR 308 AP4 that I love, works great, awesome on Texas Feral Hogs and Deer. Finally have enough disposable income to upgrade the optics, and get a suppressor. Most interested in the Titanium, (lighter, but more expensive) suppressors.I know I can't use a suppressor on Texas Deer, but the Hogs are in a free fire zone, which is why I am leaning toward a quick detachable version with a flash suppressor adapter.Looking at a few titanium suppressors (more expensive but lighter), and wondering if anyone has gone down this path.I am thinking that an adjustable gas block may be a useful addition. Has anyone suppressed an AP4 and had good results? What recipe of gear did you use.Any experiences will be welcome. Much thanks,
98Z5V Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 The least expensive Titanium option I can think of is the Yankee Hill Machine variant, which will come with the QD flash suppressor.http://yhm.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14_18&products_id=306
Madhouse Posted October 1, 2011 Report Posted October 1, 2011 I use the QSM Titanium on my .223 AR's, very good quality and performance.http://www.qsmsilencers.com/
98Z5V Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 I like that one - and it attaches to the A2 directly. A'la GemTech Halo. Very sweet. <thumbsup>
