BlakeMTsch17
Hi all, looking for some help; I'm building an AR10 with a full length top rail system, but I'm having trouble picking scope ring height. The scope I plan on running is a Vortex 6-24x50 Diamondback with a 30mm tube. What are the "best" scope rings/height for a scope like that, while keeping an "As low as possible" goal? Thank you
Belt Fed
I use the Burris PEPR mount. It's not high dollar and works fine with the 50mm scopes. some like em and some don't. never had a problem with them. Thank you LaRue LT-158 mount in 30mm is my go-to for all ARs, and especially ones with 50mm Objectives. 1.44" height to scope centerline, over the top of the rail, and it's got 10 MOA of cant built into it. It's $210 with the QD levers. You can get it for $160 it you select the "Legacy VFZ Mount" for it - locks down with 3/8" bolt heads, instead of QD levers. Rock Solid.
