Belt Fed
What's the main difference in the two? I have a grendel and love it but ammo is a no go. i just looked and so is the 6.8. i thought about getting a 6.8 for hunting. don't both have the same cartridge just a different sized bullet. is there any ballistic advantage of one over the other? especially in terms of taking down deer with. dpete
The grendel's parent case is the 7.62x39 Russian. The 6.8 is based off of the 30 Remington. Inside 2-300 yards they are pretty equal. Outside that the grendel pulls away and shines. If you have a grendel and like it there is no reason to get a 6.8 for hunting.
