DPMS Gen 1 vs Gen 2

I need some help, Guys.

How do I tell a gen 1 from a gen 2. I can't find any posts about this.

Does anybody have Gen 1 S/N cut off? I'm looking at two that are 10-12 years old with S/N's over 22,500. Would these be a 1 or 2?

I forgot to add that I am talking about the lowers, Gen 1 vs Gen 2. I want to be able to add a Phase 5 EBRV2/308 bolt release and that needs a gen 1 lower.

I know mine is a gen 1.  SN:  107XX  I know that doesn't help much.   I would like to know when mine was made also.  There are no letters in my SN just the numbers.   😊😊😊

Post a pic of your DPMS lower, and I'll tell you which one it is.  There was never  "Gen 1"  or "Gen 2" for DPMS, either.  There was the LR-308 platform, and the G II platform.

The take down pin and the pivot pin are the same size on the gen 1, on the gen 2 one is smaller than the other
