Black_Sheep Posted May 21, 2021 Report Posted May 21, 2021 When I got home from shooting tonight I pulled out my favorite.38 to wipe it down before putting it back in the safe. Without my cheaters I never realized how embarrassingly filthy it was. What started as a quick wipe down turned into a 2 hour detail clean. Feeling much better about myself now that the old .38 is spotless and well oiled... Anyone know where to buy some lead remover cloths? I haven’t seen them at the LGS for a very long time.
Sharpshooter Posted May 21, 2021 Report Posted May 21, 2021 That's a sweet looking pocket pistol. I especially like the bobbed hammer. I did that to one I had some years ago. I put a couple of grooves on the top of the hammer to help me pull it back into single action mode. Never needed it, but it was there.
Black_Sheep Posted May 22, 2021 Author Report Posted May 22, 2021 3" K-Frames fill the gap between pocket pistols and full size revolvers perfectly. The 64 has a factory bobbed hammer and a buttery smooth DA trigger pull with a crisp break. Something about the weight and balance just feels right in my hand. A Model 10 would be the blued equivalent to the Model 64, I like them too...
