micmacman Posted October 16, 2021 Report Share Posted October 16, 2021 (edited) picked this up pretty cheap , it looked like it was stuffed away in a closet for 30 years without oil , covered i light surface rust including the vintage Weaver B4 scope and mount , this was much easier then the Springfield , the rust was removed with oil and 0000 wool , cleaned the wood with saddle soap and then rubbed Watkins rejuvenating oil complete disassembly and cleaning and oil gun functions well , another very accurate old rifle , the lever has a long throw and if you short stroke it it fouls the feed so you have to be very deliberate in throwing the lever Edited October 16, 2021 by micmacman Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
