After much frustration of not being able to get the scope to fit on just the top of the receiver rail i went ahead and let the front mount go on the front rail. I checked and they were level and it probably would not be a problem but I hated it. Its been mounted now for a month or so and I have not gone out and zeroed the scope because I hate this so bad. For some reason while taking the picture of it tonight it dawned on me why they made one ring offset and one straight. I will be switching them in the morning and mounting the scope the right way.
