MikedaddyH
Does anyone on this forum have any Hornady Superformance ammo they could open up one round and get a weight of the powder?I would like to make a few rounds to test, starting at 42.0 gr and working up a grain at a time. It appears the 155 ,165 & 168 gr bullets work well with this powder.THXMike H

MikedaddyH
Went out yesterday and did a function test with some of the Superformance loads, one each of the light loads and they cycled using a 20" barreled gun the a rifle length gas system. <thumbsup>
sgtspike
I been thinking about superformance in 762 brass with a 175gr mostly cus all my 308s are loaded . got a bucket of 762 waiting for powder and some bullets. ill like to see your results and run some tests of my own from a 24in. my brother[who is here] has been tinkering with it in I believe
MikedaddyH
It might be awhile before I buy or borrow a chrono. So the 308 results will be pending. I'll save 3 rounds at each charge weight for the test. I dont want to use my expensive 24 inch gun just incase something goes wrong. The Superformance powder worked great in the 300 wsm as far as accuracy is concerned.
