New guy, checking in.

I'm looking to get into the 7.62 NATO AR game, with the end goal of a Franken-308 with 20" to 22" chrome-lined or stainless barrel, piston system, and able to take KAC/DPMS/Magpul pattern magazines.

I like the side-charging Fulton Armor upper and the prototype ADC piston system, and will like for a way to marry them with a Stainless or Chrome-lined pipe with 20 to 22" length.  5R would be nice, but not a deal-breaker.

My desired result is something similar to a Fulton Armory Titan M110...

with a grafted in ADC piston.  Link is here...

The gentleman doesn't have a website up yet, but he appears to do left-side reciprocating charging handle mods, as well as the piston.

ADC posts routinely on M4Carbine.net - that's where he puts out most of his piston info.  He's got it down now, running well.
