ron40xc
I would like to see feedback on this from folks that also have multi-thousand round experience with 308 ARs. I have a AR 308 bolt that is scrubbing the edges hard enough to create a burr edge on the back side that will reduce headspace. I am currently using 175 BT with 42.5 gr of IMR 4895. The buffer spring and buffer has been replaced with a setup from Heavy Buffers and that reduced the effect about half. (Had an AR15 buffer and spring previously) Currently I am filing off the burrs. The burrs will raise enough to need attention after a 50 round HP match.Opinions, suggestions, feedback, criticism, welcomed. Thanks for your time.rWd

survivalshop
Did you check head space to actually see if it is affecting it ? . If you were using an AR 15 Spring & Buffer , I can see that making abnormal wear on the bolt & the bolt is a wear item .It should be replaced if showing abnormal wear or damage.
