Blowback

I got a great deal on a 20” ss heavy barrel 17 hmr upper awhile back and it shoots great and very accurate.  It’s a blowback type and after I got it, I was reading stuff about out of battery discharge possibilities with a blowback system with 17 hmr.   Now I am a bit nervous about it.  Thoughts?  I have had several semi auto 22s forever and never had a problem .   A 17hmr is a bit more potent than a 22lr

I have put a couple hundred rounds through mine without issue.  That doesn't mean it can't happen, just that I have not experienced it.
