ces777 Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Ho, Brand new shooter here and decided on urchasing the LAR-8 .308 by Rock River Arms. Question though...when i went to clean it - it seemed liek the rifle had been shot many times before...it was very dirty and the spent brass deflector had noticable markings on it (after I oiled it). There was also a few very minor scratches in random areas and the firing pin had a very small area near the back that looked singed..even afer cleaning. So - the question is...is that normal? I figure it is from test firing maybe?
