Another Newbie question

So I have a Lr-.308 dpms w/ a 16" rainer arms barrel . I was wondering if any barrel nut would work with any free float. Im leaning towards a troy quad rail. any help would be awesome.

No way.  "Any/any" is a tough combination.  Armalite and DPMS use different threading, so there's an immediate incompatibility right off the bat.  Alot of rail/handguard manufacturers use specific barrel nuts of their own design, also.  Example, you're not getting  Troy nut and mounting a DD Lite rail on there.  <thumbsup> <thumbsup>
