Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40mm T2

I have a mark 4 4.5-14 scope, and I will be getting another leupold without hesitation.

I read that the bdc is only for 5.56... Was wondering how it will work in 308? I ordered one with a LaRue mount to try out on my 901... Figured for the price it was worth to try it out and see...if not it just goes on one of my other Ar's

I tried something similar; I have an RRA LAR-8 with a Mark AR 6-18x40mm with Mil dots with the larue mount LT104. I thought I could get used to shooting the .308 with a scope meant for a .223 but is really not worth it. Now I am buying the Nikon M-308 scope as soon as is available for purchase. The BDC will work after the calculations and trial and error.
