poop, a few years back they did a public test of our voting machines, which were hacked by volunteer hackers.

The paper on which you place your vote gets placed into a machine, where it is scanned and your vote is recorded.  The paper is there for if the vote is contested.

Which doesn't matter much.  The hackers were able to take a vote for A on the paper and have the machine record it as a vote for B.  They were able to do all sorts of crap...not record certain votes, count every fifth vote for A as 2 votes, on and on.

Stock up the piles boys!  It's about to get interesting!
