Nice to see Brownells add the SYRAC ORDNANCE FRONT ADJUSTABLE GAS BLOCK to their catalog. Aside from the ability to adjust from the front the adjustment system is detented. More info at AR15.com

I have been thinking about trying one out on my DPMS lr-308, but i will need a place to put the front sight.

I have one on a 6.5 Grendel AR and it works very well.

I went a different route for my LR-308 build, though. I got an SLR Rifleworks adjustable gas block. It's very similar to the Syrac block (spring loaded detent), but there is no "button" to push to change the gas settings, so it makes things a little easier to adjust.
