I just discovered this forum, along with 308ar.com, and had to become a member. I have been building a DPMS LR-308 (chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor) from a stripped lower for about a year....it's amazing how much you learn about the system when you put it together with your own hands! Aside from the optic, which I haven't decided on yet, the gun is about 85% built; I'm still waiting on a couple odds and ends like a bipod, vertical grip, sling, etc. I look forward to learning from you all, and hopefully I will be able to help out with info I've learned over the years.
