98Z5V
Good luck, brother! Whatever it is that you bring back - it will be sweet! Impulse shopping is the BEST! <thumbsup> <munch>
imschur
The last time I hit this place they had the AR-30 .338LM, SA SOCOM II in urban camo and a sweet little HK .45 rifle on the wall. Thank god my credit cards were maxed out. Probably still claw marks on the wall from being dragged out.Tomorrow Im carrying cash :)
98Z5V
Probably a good thing that there's no chance of finding a Mega Monolithic .308 set yet. There's no way I'd be able to resist that one, sitting on a shelf or hanging on a wall. No way. <dontknow>I threw an edit into the SBR thread for you, but I don't think you caught it. <thumbsup>
imschur
I don't want to pressure you. ;D I actually need to ship the remainder to Survivalshop. Its freaking out my coworkers to see a pile of ammo in ziploc bags at my desk
98Z5V
Just tell them it's a "phased operation" you're working on. If they see you show up with a big black rifle, that's their cue to RUN. <lmao> <laughs>

Madhouse
Don't tease! What did you get?!?
imschur
Man it was a tough trip.I really liked the Bushmaster ACR, its very comfy. The Socom's were less appealing this outing. There was a S&W 1911 I liked except for the "DK" on the slide. There was a Les Baer that was machined nice, had all the right stuff except the finish was terrible for a $400 get let alone a $2000. Eventually I drilled it down to two Kimbers. There was a custom shop model that was exactly what I wanted for $2000 and a Tactical LE II for $1199. In the end I chose the Tactical as It was much different than anything I own and i figured I could spend the difference finishing these to projects I have going on here.there was several runners up but they lacked the correct checkering or any checkering at all. 98Z5V
VERY nice purchase!!! <thumbsup> It always makes me happy to see someone get a new Kimber. ;D That Tactical LE II is ALOT like my Desert Warrior - I think you're really gonna like that hand cannon. SWshooter
If you think the ammo makes 'em nervous, add a couple fraggers to the pile.
Madhouse
BEAUTIFUL piece of equipment!! <thumbsup>
SWshooter
I made the mistake of poppin' a couple pain pills and surfin' the auction sites. Now I got a bid in on a Delta Gold Cup I really don't need. MY buddy warned me to stay away from the net when bored(and stoned), but did I listen, NOOOOOOO.
