Latest creation, 9mm AR

Kinda feel like a dick posting this, when Drew's 9mm is still a current topic.  Lucked into some DDLES dedicated 9mm lowers, decided I wanted to make this thing Foliage Green, instead of FDE - I know, tough departure from the norm...  :blink:

 

As soon as I saw Drew's in another thread, it kinda kicked this one into high gear.  Parts aren't easy to find, but I still had a plan on what I wanted.  It was just luck that some things came into stock again, after being "not available" for the past few months.

 

DDLES dedicated 9mm lower

DPMS slick-side upper (this thing has some thick walls, which is what I was after)

Green Mountain 1:10 twist 9mm barrel, threaded 1/2"x36, 10.5" long.

Spikes pistol receiver extension, Exile Machine cover

Home-brew lower parts kit, all from small, individual parts.  A better trigger will go into it.  Standard, now.

32rd surplus military Uzi mags

Magpul MOE+ foliage pistol grip

VLTOR CASV-EL rail, foliage

Troy flip-up rear sight

Yankee Hill flip-up front sight tower

Yankee Hill .45 ACP suppressor-host flash hider, threaded 5/8"x24

PWS thread adaptor, 5/8x24 to 1/2x36

Bushnell TRS-25 red dot

BCM Gunfighter charging handle, large latch

 

Still need a complete BCG, and either a 9mm buffer, or H3 buffer.  The BCGs aren't available anywhere, except for GB, and they're going BIG $$$ there...

 Looking good. I just got my 9mm bolt from cmmg a few days ago. I paid about $230 after shipping and I ordered mine from their website on 2/26/13.
