jtallen83
I've had this 938 since last June. I love the way it shoots, when it runs right! I've sent it back twice now for failure to extract but they don't seem to want to fix it. There is some side to side play in the barrel when in lock up, I'm pretty sure this is the main culprit to my issue but they clean it and shoot a few magazines then ship it back saying they could not duplicate the issue. Makes sense because I don't have the problem till 100-150 rounds into a range trip. The firing pin strikes are erratic, sometimes dead center sometimes a little off and sometimes near the edge. As you can imagine the accuracy suffers some. I'm getting ready to ship it back again, my LGS said he would swap it out and save me the trouble but I'm determined to get some of that first class customer service Sig advertises. When it runs right it's an awesome pocket pistol!
planeflyer21
That's a bummer jt. A friend sent his P226 back four times…then decided to sell it. Not sure what's going on there. Your issue sounds similar to what another instructor had with his P220 Carry. Only he got intermittent strikes from the firing pin. This was after 800 total rounds or so. It reminded me of when Colt had issues with the Series 80 1911s.
