Cali_Ed Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Hey Guys been wantin to buy a 1911 and looked at entry level ones like the ria 1911 tactical for about 469. These things any good? I've read of people upgrading it with Wilson parts.

The only problem I've had with RIA is a recent purchase of 1911 parts that required more fitting than I was prepared to do. But I'll get that all worked out, it won't get the best of me.

Microgunner Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 It was all the 45ACP parts needed to convert my RIA XT22 to 45ACP. Many of the parts are oversized requiring fitting, not drop in like I thought they'd be.
