Girardoni Air Rifle

I've posted about this awesome weapon before!  Standard issue to the Austrian army in 1780, a full 11 years before the 2nd Amendment was enacted.  When people say "They had no idea about rapid fire and 20-round magazines back then," show them this video.

 

This video goes into the whole mechanism of the rifle more, and the kit the soldiers were issued.

That's pretty awesome. Wonder what the range would be with all that led.
