I have heard horror stories about how wolf with the lacquer coating has a tendency to gum up hot chambers. I have a friend who had it happen to his Ar-15, he had to have a gunsmith run a finish reamer in his chamber to clean it out. Ever since , I will not use wolf in anything I shoot

Oh don't get me wrong, Sinclair is great, but they are a little pricey on some stuff. Just wanted to know if anyone else sold them so I could possibly get all the little odds and ends I need for my build at one place.

Is Sinclair the only company that makes a cleaning link for the AR-10/LR-308? Can't seem to find anyone else. :-\

I recently got a great deal on a PRS stock buffer tube,spring and buffer, well the stock turned out to be the AR-15 type. I contacted Magpul and the do sell conversion kits for around $32 shipped. it includes a new cheek piece and buffer tube sleeve.

hmmm, I guess it is different, the AR-10 measures 3.77". So everything I have read about the AR-10 upper fitting on a LR-308 lower has a new twist. If the pocket sits 1/4" farther back, then the hammer placement will also be off, and might affect firing pin strikes. Thanks for the info, might be worth mentioning in the FAQ.

I am looking for some help here, I would like someone who has a LR-308 to measure the distance from the front pivot pin to the front edge of the fire control pocket. I have a blue print for an AR-10 (no not that stupid pencil drawing going around the net...lol) . I think that the FCG placement is different but not sure, that's why i need the help. I plan on going the Super Sniper route from SWFA, I have one on my .50 cal and really like it. For some reason it has been given a bum rap by some, but it has never let me down yet with over 300+ rnds of .50 BMG.

this is the 80% I'm using

I'm not new to the AR platform but I am starting my first 308 build, only I'm doing it from an 80% lower. I have the lower based on the DPMS and I am starting to collect the parts, slow but sure.
