I have been a bit busy, just moved. Moving 30 years of s**t takes awhile. I finalized the move last week and got a vise block from Ed Roberts also. His blocks/tools are really nice. Finito, optics will change but am using an SS variable for now, LaRue LT-158 mount, 21" Noveske SS 7.62 rattle canned, SWS 12"rail with Harris mount integrated, Harris 6-9" notched legs, JD U/L Armalite pattern, Troy BUIS, Armalite BCG, BCM GunFighter med latch CH, OPS inc 12th Muzzle brake, Slash's spring and heavy buffer, Armalite LPK, Ergo grip, Magpul UBR. Sorry about the phone pic.

I know this is not timely but the SWS 15" is more like the Vtac or PRI type. Look at PRI also nice products. Just got my rifle length SWS very nice work.

SWS rail came in, opted for the rifle length. Comes with the wrench, barrel nut and Harris adapter built in. Very nice piece of machining. Now I just have to finish moving this weekend and it will be together. I think I might rattle can the barrel, still not sure. I will post some pics when I am finished next week.

Botach has issues with customer service, I haven't used them but there are numerous threads about them on various forums, CalGuns has had a few. Some have had no issues also. Just be aware.

I haven't been here in awhile, nothing new to report until now. JD is finally getting my upper done, they are at the anodise, so I will get it next week. I also have all my other parts on the way, except for bi-pod/mount. Just sticking with a Harris, LaRue version. Handguard is an SWS rifle length. It should be here in a few days , I ordered it yesterday. I have my LaRue LT-158 scope mount on the way also. It should be together in about 2 weeks or so. I will post up a pic or two when I finish.

Mega has announced an U/L matched set, also they will have their monolithic upper later in the year. It looks like an Armalite platform, my understanding is it will accept Magpul mags. It was talked about at CalGuns, I can't confirm it though. http://www.megamachineshop.com/armsnews.php

I didn't see the 1000, 2000 etc. . So for 500, my SS 3-9 .$1000, I have a SN4s 1-4 US Optic also on my 18" 5.56. It is a very clear piece of glass. I wish I would have been able to get the 1-6 though. My eyes can use all the help it can get. Out to about 400yrds, I am good with it, over that, I wish I had more magnification.

I am really happy with my SS variable, 3x9 . Clear glass for the cost. I have also heard that for 3 gun, many like the Millet 1x4 DMS. I was in Dillon Precision and was talking to some of the staff and customers about it. That is what they were saying, I looked through it and it seemed fair for the price. Snipers Hide has tons of info to read. Good source <thumbsup>

Ergo grips fit on Armalite lowers, not sure about DPMS. The Tactical grip is fatter than the standard and feels quite like the CAA. I like the soft grippy feel of the Ergo grips. Ops Inc is suppressor friendly, I have 2 of the 12th models now and am happy with the performance on my 5.56, the 7.62 is still in the build stage. I would also consider AAC and Surefire. I also found a place called Jet Suppressors, they look similar to Ops inc.. He is affiliated with SWS, which are really nice handguard/rails(Noveske). We can't even mention suppressors here in Ca. . That's how evil they are .... excuse me somebody is knocking at the door, I'll be right back.

Just ordered my BCG from Armalite, 30 day wait, we will see. I got my Ops Inc muzzle break from ADCO. Since have found similar from various sites, one was Jet Suppressors . It is a double chamber though. As for handguards I am still trying to decide, I have found some DD lite out there. I am leaning to SWS, almost ordered it 2 days ago then I hesitated. I may go with their 15" vs the 12". The 12 is actually 12.75", I Am trying to decide if covering the gas block all the way is that important. The gun will be babied.

Just received mine from him last week. I won't be able to test it until I replenish the coffers for some other parts. Getting close though.

Heavy Buffer and spring from Heavy buffers, Also and Ops Inc muzzle break 12th model from ADCO. My Lower parts seem to all be here. I am putting on an EMOD instead of a UBR since I had one laying around. Waiting for some more dollars to flow for my Rail and BCG.

Born and raised, so were parents and one set of Grand Parents. We used to have lots of freedom in the 60s and 70s. Everyone moved here during the 50 on. We used to shoot on Topanga Canyon blvd in the early 60s with 22s, SFV.
