the bolt and charging move normally when not attached to the lower. i measured with a diagital caliper from the bottom of the upper receiver to the bolt and i got different measurements between the dpms receiver and the psa receiver , the difference was significant .150 -.200 with the dpms having larger dimension.'m not sure what gen the dpms is, purchased a few years ago on this board.

i just received my PSA PA10 complete upper. i was able to attach it to my DPMS lower but i was unable to pull the charging handle back. seems very tight so i tried with some force and was able to pull it back but the bolt jambed up in the buffer tube. i had to pull the rear take down pin to release the bolt. i also tried using my dpms bolt in the psa receiver with the same problem.anyone else notice this problem.

went to the range with my new tac 20 everything went fine 40 rds down with no failures and pretty accurate for iron sites off a front rest only. the problem is the ejected brass, they all have small dings half way up the side of the case, i'm thinking from hitting the deflector, there is also a dent on the top part of the neck inline with the case dent,is there a way to fix this problem ,i would like to keep the brass to reload. thanks

brought home my new tac 20 today and noticed when i pull back on the charging handle it makes an awful spring noise.should i be concerned and will it go away.i have a colt ar15 and it dosent make any noise.

i just got on the 308 kick, i went to the range with my newly aquired m1a socom II and it was a blast.now i need a 308 on an ar platform.this weeks the local gunshow , so it wont be long before i have one in hand. looking toward a dpms, something to shoot out to 1000 yds.
